Year 5 Assessment Weekly homework (based on completion NOT accuracy – we discuss answers the day that the homework is due) Weekly quiz: usually on previous week's topic Exam given twice per term (homework is to make corrections once receive the test back) Exercise books collected and graded twice per term (looking for organisation, neatness and all lessons including worksheets or handouts dispersed) Observations of progress of grasping and applying learned topics as well as interactions with other students and team work. Projects culminating in oral and written presentation – weighted same as one exam |
